You definitely don’t want that electric thing. Looks too ridiculous. Don’t know much about the pull carts because I have never used one, but I know that the latest carry bags are extremely lightweight. I wouldn’t rule them out.

It looks ugly as homemade sin but there’s a neat bag called the Tri-bag. It’s like a carry/cart/pullcart all put together. I think the address is www.tri-bag.com. Other than that, I don’t know much about carts.

I’m still pulling an ancient BagBoy but recently rented a SunMountain push cart and liked it. It seems to be easier on the shoulders and my old body in general. The course was hilly and rolling and they usually jerk my pull cart around a lot.

I have a Sun Mountain push cart and love it. Rolls very easily and takes no effort to push (except up some of the hills I have around here). It has nice features too: a parking break, umbrella holder, cup/bottle holder, ball slot, clipboard and storage. It also folds extremeley easily and is lightweight. It set me back $179 but it was worth every penny. I used to have an old pull cart and rarely walked because it was such a pain to lug around and use. I walk much more now and enjoy the benefits of the exercise, and so really, the extra money I paid was worth it, plus it has paid for itself already in cart fee savings.

Do both Walk and Ride with the Cassoni Detachable Pull Cart www.cassonigolf.com Yes, I’m plugging our product that we will launch to golf courses in 2008 to speed play, be a convenience to golfers, and reduce wear & tear on the course.

That Cassoni cart looks cool but I doubt many courses will use it. Since alot of clubs use GPS, driving the cart to the ball becomes a part of what the player does. Now I’m sure in places that don’t use GPS, this will be a viable option. It also seems that the carts have to be retrofitted with hardware to make the cart work. Of course, this is just me talking after watching the little video. I might have different thoughts after I sleep on it…

Three of our foursome use a $110 Bag Boy. It’s a solid product. I’ve had mine for a year and love it.

Ah yes, The joy of walking… I’ve gotten back into playing after a few (15) years off to tend to the corporate world . I’ve been riding & now it’s time to start walking the courses. I need to buy a cart. There’s pull, there’s push and I won’t even consider a $1500 electric powered. Anybody have thoughts, suggestions, etc on which cart to buy?? Any info is appreciated. Thanks, Christina
