Let's Talk About Golf Balls

There are so many golf ball brands that have many different kinds associted with them.

What are yout thoughts with respect to the following:

What ball do you think flies the furthest?

What ball do you think spins the most?

What ball do you think has the softest cover?

What ball do you think has the hardest cover?

And last but not least, what ball do you play with and why?

Well the balls that fly farthest are illegal. You can get them from various places on the web.

As far as spin goes, I’m not accomplished enough as a player to tell minor differences but I do know that I even I can spin the HX Tour.

I don’t know about cover material either because I test a balls softness/hardness by how it feels coming off of my clubs.

Right now I am palying a variety of balls. I play Pro V1’s, HX Tour’s, TP Red’s, and D2 Distance. I was also using the Dimplit ball for awhile but they scuffed so easily I stopped using them.
